I grew up in Newtown, CT while it is the largest town in CT size wise it was a true small town that many people hadn’t heard of. Can’t say that anymore it is well known because of an unfortunate act, but it is a small town full of love. I was the baby of 4 my sister is 10 years older than me and my brothers are 8 and 7 years older. Both my brothers served our country proudly, giving me big shoes to follow. I am a mother of 2 kids they keep me busy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I got divorced from their father in 2013 and really found myself struggling to move forward, I was closing everyone out but my kids. I just didn’t know how to move on or if I really wanted to move on, so I got lost in books. A few people told me why don’t you try and write your own book maybe it will help you find closure, I truly thought they were all crazy! What do I know about writing a book? NOTHING is the answer to that question. Talking to my dear friend Anne Conley she told me everyone has at least one story in them. So I started writing thinking this book would just be for a little bit of truth to my life and a whole lot of fiction but maybe writing the middle and end to the life I want could help me move forward. Asking a few friends to read what I had and they asked me for more, and where I got it. So I kept writing the more I wrote the more it didn’t feel real to me. But here I am finishing up my first book and while I am scared to share it with everyone I am excited to see if you all like it as much as me? I already have book two in my head and can’t wait to finish book one so I can start on two for you all. Life isn’t easy all the time and sometimes you just have to find a way to make yourself smile, without a smile you will always be looking at the glass half empty. Friends and family are what matter the most so find a way to find yourself again if all else fails pick up a book and get lost in the story and then go through the world ready to write your next page. Life is a book but the ending isn’t written yet it so it is up to you, so make sure the upcoming chapters and ending is just how you want it.
